For deeper stains, use a mild detergent diluted in water and gently blot the area, then air dry completely. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron, as high heat and harsh chemicals can ruin the material and shape. Store your hat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and maintain its crisp, structured profile.
