To properly clean and care for a vanity license plate, use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth to avoid damaging the finish. Harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and high-pressure washing can cause fading and scratches.
For routine cleaning, you can wash your vanity plate the same way you wash your car.
