Blastronaut — Vengeful Army #006
He was six months into a deep orbit mission when the signal went dark. Not a malfunction — a decision. The cartel’s shadow government arm had rerouted the program’s funding to classified operations, the crew was listed as lost, and the mission was quietly buried. He kept the ship running on maintenance power and emergency rations for two years before finding a re-entry window. He came back to a world he didn’t recognize. The collapse had already started when he landed. He walked out of the wreckage of his capsule into a dead city with zombie hordes in the streets and corporate checkpoints at every exit. Betrayed by the same government that put him in that chair, he had no interest in rebuilding what they built. He still had his suit. Tinker Boom made sure the rest of it worked.
Connections: Fuck Bot found his emergency beacon on a sweep of dead government frequency bands and routed it to Riot Man. Blastronaut was already moving toward the city when contact was made. His working relationship with Tinker Boom is built entirely on what she can do to his gear — she’s rebuilt his suit three times and he’s stopped asking questions about the modifications. He and Rot Jaw have a mutual and unspoken understanding: both were written off as dead by the system. Neither one forgot it.
